	An Opportunity to Share What can we give You, what have we to share? There is so much to be done, so much love to dare. Please work here beside us and well do our part then well give together and be one in heart. Do you have gifts to share with our children, youth and young family ministries? 	Emergency Appeal for the Horn of Africa The United Church is immediately responding to this crisis with a commitment of $50,000 to the humanitarian relief work of ACT Alliance and partners such as the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) and the Organization of African Instituted Church (OAIC), who work through their member churches to respond to the immediate needs of people affected.  Congregation members are encouraged to join the church in providing financial support for this humanitarian crisis.  Gifts from individuals can be mailed directly to the General Council Office, 3250 Bloor St. West, Suite 300, Toronto, ON  M8X 2Y4.  Please be sure to note Emergency Response Horn of Africa both on the envelope and face of the cheques.  Cheques should be made payable to The United Church of Canada.  These funds will be matched by the Federal Government.
Nursery News	Nursery News The church nursery is looking for volunteers to help on one or more Sundays.  Please speak to one of us or call Jeanne 613-224-4870 or Fern at 613-225-4842.  You may also put your name on the schedule on the nursery door. Voices Hymn Books were purchased using Memorial Funds	If you would like to dedicate a book in memory, or in honour of someone the cost is $20.00.	Please see Harry Bender during coffee time or call 613-224-1440 or call the church office.
Let's get to know everyone on a first-name basis!	Remember to wear your name tag. If you need one, please contact the Church Office, or fill out the Request Form on the Welcome Table, then look for your name tag on the Welcome Table the following Sunday. It will be waiting for you!
Do you have a wish? We want to hear from you.	Visit our Welcome Table and fill out your "I Wish" card. Wishes are for everyone!

SHARE THE CARE: If you know of someone who is in hospital, a nursing home or house-bound and would like a visit from the Minister, or a member of the Pastoral Care Team, please call the Church office at 613-224-1021.
GROCERY GIFT CARDS - You can still support local outreach programs when you buy groceries at Loblaws and Independent.	It comes in the form of a card, denominations of $10, $25, $50, $100, and $250. The amount remaining shows on your grocery tab and is recorded on your card. It is easy and fast.	Marg Knight (613-226-2960).
METRO GIFT CERTIFICATES are now available as plastic cards.	These can be used at FOOD BASICS and METRO. These certificates are available in denominations of $10, $20 and $25.	See Margaret Knight after church at coffee hour or call 613-226-2960.
CENTRE 507	It is cold outside and Centre 507 and Operation Go-Home are asking for men's warm winter jackets, scarves, gloves, warm socks, caps, underwear and toiletries (tooth brushes and paste, etc.). If you can provide any of these, please place in box in lower foyer or in the OGH box in the Nursery.

Dedicate a Bulletin Cover to remember someone or share an occasion with City View's church family.	Individuals or families are invited to make a donation of $25 (the weekly cost of these coloured covers) as a memorial or to celebrate a birthday or anniversary or other special occasion.	Please call Mary Lynne at the church office to reserve your Sunday Bulletin and to give details of your dedication.
Used Stamps	Please bring in your USED STAMPS for the Canadian Bible Society. You may put them into the box in the Narthex or the big blue tin in the office.
